Tatiana is a native of Saint Petersburg, Russia, where her education in art and passion for photography began. She has lived and worked in Montreal since 1991.

Tatiana has a BFA in Restoration (Fresco and Paint) from the Muchin School of Fine Arts, Saint Petersburg, and studied fashion - the design of folk costumes - at Saint Petersburg State University. She is currently completing a Fine Arts Degree in Photography at Concordia University, Montreal, after having graduated from Dawson College's Institute of Photography with the Patron Award for Outstanding Performance.

She states that her photographic interests are centered on visual sociology, social landscape and urban architecture.

Throughout Tatiana's career she has won numerous prizes, exhibited her work in solo and group shows, organized and curated several photography exhibitions and worked also as a guest curator at Blowup Photography Gallery in Montreal. Tatiana is currently teaching photography at the Saydie Bronfman School of Fine Arts and at Intofoc.us Photography Centre in Montreal
